Sean Cudmore

and Strategy
A Chesapeake, Virginia native, Sean Cudmore has been in the hospitality industry for his entire career. Sean got a start in Asheville in 2011 with Eric Scheffer at his catering company, Dining Innovations, and then joined him at Vinnie’s Neighborhood Italian. As Director of Operations for Vinnie’s, Sean was in charge of navigating the business through the changing landscape of the restaurant industry brought by the 2020 pandemic, using his experience in managing concepts with a broad range of service models to do so. He has since been integral in opening and sustaining all of Scheffer’s new concepts, including Jettie Rae’s Oyster House and Vinnie’s second location, by implementing well thought-out and executable systems and management strategies.
Now Director of Growth and Strategy, Sean is in charge of managing the organization’s “Big Picture,” the overall path of growth through a focus on adaptability, contingency planning, and financial sustainability.
