Jettie Rae’s Further Connects with the Community Through a Reimagined Menu that Celebrates Honest Food Done Well.
Jettie Rae’s Oyster House enters its 5th year by unveiling a reimagined menu while continuing to serve the freshest seafood and oysters available.
"As we enter our 5th year, we chose to take a step back and reflect on all we have been through, all we have learned, and to embrace the rebuilding of Asheville,” says Owner/Chef Eric Sheffer.
While seafood remains at the heart of Jettie Rae’s, guests will now experience a selection of dishes such as Spaghetti Vongole, Pork Chop Milanese, Chicken Liver Pâté, Coq au Vin, Veal Sweetbreads, and Steak Frites.
"At our core, we’re still an oyster house, and we’re still going to serve the best oysters you can find, but we identified an opportunity to serve our community with a menu inspired by the food we cook for our families and friends at home. Comforting, varied, and approachable.”
Jettie Rae's will continue to offer weekly specials to provide reasons to gather and celebrate, be it after a hard day's work over a half-priced bottle of wine on Tuesdays, or for a more intimate occasion on Lobster Roll Sunday.
“Our focus has always been on providing honest food done well,” says Executive Chef Will Cisa. In the wake of the disaster, something really beautiful happened. In working with World Central Kitchen, we were able to serve the community like never before, and we loved serving dishes that focused on comfort and abundance. Through those experiences, we reimagined a new Jettie Rae’s.”
“This is just the beginning,” says Scheffer, “2025 is going to be a big year for us. We can’t wait to share more of how we are planning to honor our place in this community.”
